Welcome to Jesus Street!

People ask, what does your blog’s name mean? It’s really pretty simple. In July 2013, my family went on a vacation to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. There, we wandered through the winding, crowded streets, enjoying the sounds of trumpets and guitars, smelling the roasted chiles and tortillas floating from the open-door cafes, and generally taking in the thousands of colors and sights in this enchanting city. Somehow, we ended up at a street corner and, when I glanced up at the sign, I realized we were standing on Jesus Street. Narrow houses with bright paint colors and flower-filled windows lined the street.

“Jesus Street!” I said. “This is where I want to live!”

At the moment, I realized that I do live on Jesus Street. Any of us who love and seek the Lord Jesus Christ have the honor of being in his heavenly family and dwelling with him.

Living on Jesus Street: as you wander through the blog, you will find the category People Who Live on Jesus Street, stories about Christians with exceptional ministries. You will find Christian Living, stories of struggles, of pain, of hope, and of courage, stories that claim the promise in Romans 8:28 that all things work together for good for those who love God. You may also wander into the category Seeking the Source, posts for those are still looking for spiritual truth. Welcome to Jesus Street, a friendly place where you can come just as you are — no need to dress up or even brush your hair.

  1. Pringle…I am already THRILLED to have taken the few moments to find your blog! I just want to say that I feel so blessed already to have connected with you. I look forward to checking out everything! Excited to have met you dear sister!

  2. Just found your blog and the story on my dear brother Preston….Preston, you are an amazing man of God and what a joy it is to see the name of Jesus as the foundation of every sentence you right. I know the feeling of praying for more grace to walk this walk the Lord has allowed us to be on. His landscape is our landscape and He created it just for us painted by His very flesh and blood. May the crosses you find on your disciple walk become moments of JOY as you pass through them and know His victory has been won yet again . Thank you for sharing your self with us. It is a witness that we all need to hear . You are a delight brother and i love you and I am praying for your complete healing!!!
    Your sister in Christ,
