About Living on Jesus Street
What does your blog’s name mean?
People often ask me this question. It began back in 2011 with a startling dream in which I left my body and wound up in a formless place between worlds.
There I was met by a nondescript, middle-aged man - perhaps an angel in disguise - who wanted to usher me into an old-timey caged elevator. I sensed that this conveyance would take me to another realm. When I protested that it was not yet my time, the man relented, saying God would allow me to stay "if I would write for Him".
With a surge of relief, I happily agreed. This transformative awareness soon led to a burst of writing and the idea to create a holy blog. The perfect name came in a flash when, on a trip to Mexico, I looked up at a street sign: Jesus Street. Who wouldn’t want to live there?
There’s always room for more souls on this block. Let’s be neighbors!
Be still and know that I am God.
The Jesus Street blog stories and books, the prayer tools, videos, and Zoom-based contemplative circles are here to help you expand your love and knowledge of the Lord.
To connect with your Creator on a more intimate level. To be infilled by his peace.
In this modern age, where anxiety and stress have become the new norm, you must be intentional about feeding your soul. Come, return to interior stillness. Sit quietly and remember what your eternal self knows.
